安娜-朗杰尔（Anna Lengyel）

Word for Word is a method that stems from the principles of documentary theatre and is based on artists’interviews with the representatives of a specific community and their subsequent stage formulation. Word for Word isalsothe name of a show that is a response to the racially motivated murders of Hungarian Roma.
As a dramaturge,Anna Lengyelhas collaborated with important directors such as Tamas Ascherand Arpád Schilling. She has worked internationally on the dramaturgy of shows by Robert Wilson, Declan Donnellan and Pina Bausch. Anna Lengyel translates theatre plays and also teaches at the University of Theatre and Film in Budapest.
Annawastheassociate director on the Sydney Theatre Company's production of Waiting for Godot with Richard Roxburgh and Hugo Weaving in the leading roles.Shewas also associate director/dramaturg on the acclaimed Uncle Vanya production of STC, which toured to Washington and New York,won numerous awards and featured the above two great actors, as well as Cate Blanchett, Hayley McElhinney, John Bell, Jacki Weaver, Sandy Gore, Anthony Phelan and Andrew Tighe, directed by Tamás Ascher.
Anna hasworked in the US, in Germany, in Finland, in the UK and many other countries.
