玛雅•米蒂克（Maja Mitic）
玛雅•米蒂克导演毕业于塞尔维亚的贝尔格莱德艺术学院，现任尼什爵士戏剧节的艺术总监和甄选人。她有超过三十年的专业戏剧工作经验，从事过演员，导演，编舞，戏剧构作和大学教授的工作。从1983年到1991年间，她先后在贝尔格莱德国家剧院，诗歌剧院和Terazije等剧院工作。1985年参演电影《魅力》饰演女主角。2000-2001年，Maja作为美国爱荷华大学的访问教授，从2009年至今，她被聘为英国伦敦金史密斯大学的客座教授。

Maja is theArtistic director and selectorof International Nisville Jazz Theater Festival.
She has been working professionally within theatre for more than30 years,as actress,director,choreographer, dramaturgand professor.
From 1983 to 1991 she workedinseveraltheatresin Belgradeincluding theNational Theater, Theater of poetry, Terazije Theater, etc.
In1985she played the main female role inthefilm Charmer.
2000-01Maja was a visiting professorat the University of Iowa ,USA.
Since 2009she is avisiting professorat Goldsmiths UniversityinLondon,UK.She goes there every year to give courses to their postgraduate master students.
Maja has also beenteaching and beingartist in residence at universitiessuch as: CalArts, Brown,Chicago Institute of Art, and many others inbothUSA andtheUK.
In1991she became afunding member ofDAH Theater in Yugoslavia(now Serbia).Dah Theatreis the firstprofessionaltheatrelaboratory in this part of theworld who’s mainmethodof working isDEVISED THEATREwhere performance score originates from collaborative, often improvisatory work by a performing ensemble.Thework of DAH Theatre has beenpraisedboth nationally and internationally.Maja Mitićisstillpart of the artistic core of DAH Teatar where shehas made more than 50 performances and projcets.DAH Theatre has been active for many years now, nationally and internationally, in organisingworkshops, lectures, seminars, festivalsetc. Maja participates actively both as anactress, aproducer andas a teacher.
In2011-12Maja was theDirectorof the project IN-Visible City. This project was the first time that SerbiaimplementedaleadingpartnershipwithinEU Culture.
In2012-13Maja became theArtistic Directorof the project:Empowering young women in monitoring the implementation of the law on gender equalityinEU IPA. Thisprojectrealised3stage productionsand 11 documentary films.
Maja was the movementdirector & choreographerof the performance:”Deadline“and”I grew almond tree“(2018)”Zojka’s apartment“, Bulgakov (2017) atBelgrade Drama Theater,“The Merchant of Venice“(2017)Drama Theater Skopje,”Mourning befits Electra“-ART Media and MOB in Macedonia.
She publishes articles and essays at varioustheatremagazines in the country and abroad.
